Think about things like property lien searches, inspecting property with tenants in it and reporting findings to the investor, checking on zoning ordinances, advertising for purchases, negotiating with the Sellers, scouting the best financing terms, and other such things.Anyone can swing a hammer or sling a paint brush.

If you want to go join a forum inundated with contractors you'll see a great deal more trolling, pissing matches over meaningless code interpretations, and poor interpersonal communication skills, which not to broad brush, is much more of the norm statistically speaking in the 'contractor' world.Regarding contractors using stolen materials, or stuff they have in inventory - I've seen it, now at least 5 times.
