I back up my originals scans to an external USB hard drive, and then I also use a backup service, CrashPlan, to back that up in the cloud.

How do I get passed the "start up capital hump"?

I wouldn't mind having a cosigner, but I would like to be the sole owner on everything, and just the cosigner there to get me over the hump to qualify for the mortgage and nothing else. 

Either store it on a different computer or better yet on a portable USB disk.

The first is always the hardest, and you need to get over that hump if you are truly serious about investing.

It can shave years off your path and maybe get you over the hump where you'd never make other wise and you'd just keep that day job.Given my role mentoring yellow letter programs and new folks in general, there's many gorillas in the room.
