I have friends who own properties with 5+ units who Airbnb 1-2 units in those buildings but again there are limits to the scalability thing. 

Spend LOTS of MONEY on mass marketingThe "rate locked affect" is limiting a large portion of the market and stopping transactions from happening.

Barryville is a small town with limited sources of income.

Hopefully a) they meet/exceed my expectations over time and b) more auditable info/data comes into existence based on the experience of Flock shareholders, in contrast to the rather limited info/data that exists today. 

They are normal to think about, but these kind of questions are going to give you limited beliefs and prevent you from moving forward on a potentially great property.

References can provide a good sense of the applicant's reliability and rental history.These steps should give you more confidence in your decision, even if their U.S. financial footprint is limited.
