Just got denied lending from a supposed HM lender due to the source of the down payment coming from a personal loan.

The tenant from the unit with the leak supposedly moved out because the leak issue was not being fixed.

Though thinking it through, I suppose the seller-financed piece would be in the purchase agreement, so the underwriter might have something to say about that.

If I trim rehab though, it would help tremendously, but I am just not that much of a risk taker I suppose when it comes to building. 

I suppose they could be geez they would be opening themselves up to a huge lawsuit that most lenders (big and small) don't have the appetite for because this is a small and immaterial violation.
