One of our neighbors did replace his entire system & then after the $15k install they had to rip out the entire leech field again as the kid running the heavy equipment drove over it crushing all the leech field chambers!!!

I don't suggest this because I think all landlords should do everything DIY, but because the knowledge can help you DIY minor issues, AND keep you from getting ripped off by a contractor who might be recommending something that's not necessary.

The water heater was over the shower area and must of blown and did some water damage, so i will need to replace all that OR should i just rip out the shower all together.
