Likewise, you may not want to invest where the local stability and commercial (space) economy is dominated by a single religious offering.

There are plenty of unscrupulous people in all religious communities.

I am not a religious person, but I have a great deal of faith in REI and the determination to succeed no matter what.  

There are exclusions or specific tenant requirements that have been excluded from some govt. financing as well, such as senior living condos, fraternal organizations, religious organizations and civic organizations, where properties were only available to certain groups.

I know that area gets nuts in the spring/summer and I personally know people who rented there over the summer religiously and paid extra because they were getting paid so much through the summer. 

Although IMO most members of the US Senate and house are so/so at best, too many of them are religious fanatics who draw most of their support from a very fringe group of voters.It's the 21st century folks.

it could be a small private school..in carolina many small religious colleges (think less than 3,000 students) do not allow off campus housing, or limit it to seniors with a good gpa or something..something else to look into...but eddie, i admire your imagination on this one..there is a run down, boarded up motel in a trendy hot area where i live that i would love to change into one bedroom efficiencies...i prob wouldn't even tear out the heart shaped jacuzzis lol

The teenage mothers are the product of bad parenting, and the religious crazies are the product of a Church who thinks it's okay to rape little boys and cover it up.

It is not a religious matter, it's a social, legal and economic matter.  

I read all the great investing books, I listen to the bigger pockets podcast religiously.
