Type the @ symbol followed by the first few characters of a person's name and then at the bottom of the post you will see a drop down menu of the people who match .

Pause and a drop down menu will appear with a list of names that match, select the person you want to mention.

I found its tricky to open up the inbox dropdown and navigate the menue on a tablet.

You can start with the "Learn" menu at the top of your page.

To tag someone, start to type exactly what you did, then look below the message box and there will be a drop-down menu to select that person's name.  

You can go to the BP menu and find the community tab.  

Several members informed us that the gray dropdown menu at the top of the dashboard was not functioning properly.
