If I remember right they ended up having a hearing at the board of supervisors and I watched it online. 

I have found no record of him online aside from self-published articles made to make them seem more reputable than they are.  

I'm perusing through some online listings for multifamily in my area.

@Guillaume Vidallet no matter what state you create an LLC in, all other states will require you to register any LLC that does business in their state.So, you buy a rental in Michigan and place in an LLC, you'll have to register that LLC in Michigan. 

I get excited when new investors finally figure this out because their first deal then becomes a matter of when.

If there is "still contamination" at any level, I would be concerned about that and pass on the deal no matter what.

Their new online system is really confusing, and I have had to call customer support for help each time I needed to wire/ACH funds because I could never figure it out on my own (and their customer service chat box isn't set up yet).
