If it's not worth it then bail on it, but you're talking as if it has no value, or it's a scam, which simply isn't true.

This was a Wall Street/Bankers scam at its best and all the scumbags were involved.

With all the scams out there, I prefer to buy and manage my own property.

Do not fall for the Nevada/Wyoming/Delaware/OtherFabulousState scam, you'll need to then register in two states and won't get the protection/savings that the salesperson promised you, because when you buy property in MA, then MA laws are the ones that matter.  

Obviously a scam.

Of the BK13 plans I've encountered this is yet again a different one.

It also may help to have a parent on board to make sure you don't encounter any weirdos during your search.  

Of course, there's always real estate agents, but most of them in this area can't get themselves a listing and would probably see me as a scam (based on conversations I've had) - worth following up with, though.

Remember, there is NO property management requirement for an FHA multifamily loan, so if you encounter difficulties, there is an alternative.
