When I was a fabricator my main clients/jobs were in downtown Detroit, Inkster, Wayne, Livonia, Southfield, Dearborn, Westland etc. since that's where we were based out of, and I still spend about a month every year in Livonia and Detroit Metro areas.

I've had some success using "pre fabricated" slabs.

These are considerably cheaper than having the tops fabricated from slab granite.
