Requirements for an Ohio Real Estate Broker’s License The applicant must hold an active salesperson license for two (2) of the last five (5) years and comply with the following requirements: If licensed prior to 1/01/1972, no further education is due If licensed from 1/02/72 to 1/03/84, you must have taken the required 120 hours (courses #1 - 4 listed below) • If licensed on or after 1/03/84, you must have taken courses #1 - 8 listed below and possess a minimum of two years of post-secondary education (#9), or the equivalent hours of sixty (60) semester or ninety (90) quarter hours.

I own a 4 bedroom home in a college town that I am looking to rent next year for the 2016 fall semester, so I have some time here.The town has an ordinance stating that every tenant age 17+ needs to have a parking spot on the property.

If it was a student rental I would check the level at semester break.Natural gas I think is great but propane they will gouge on price depending on where you live as well as the safety issues.

at my college 2 or 3 years ago, living on campus was 3 or 4 grand a semester, and they had a mandatory meal plan for on campus students...basically around 15 grand a year was thrown away on crappy food that we hated eating (but did cuz we had to pay for it) and rent on a crappy dorm..that is how i bought my first house...it was cheaper to pay a mortgage and cook rice flavored with BBQ sauce!!

If you close after August 1st, it could cost you several months of vacancy as it is much much harder to rent in this town mid semester.
