I realize hoa’s are typically responsible for “in between the walls” issues....some people think that means all plumbing.I agree, it would be reasonable to ask them for pics but I can’t see any liability for “forgetting” to do so, they did what they were Required to do.

I get it in writing personally to erase any ambiguity - email, text, consent on my website, I've even done it on a napkin and scanned the napkin to PDF format, take your pick, but always documented and never verbal.

When people work remotely with a CPA, do they just scan all that stuff?
