References and Reviews: - Can you provide references from other property owners you manage for?

Maybe this is a Milwaukee thing, but we have a lot who are either not good, cringeworthy to listen or outright dangerous, many of them with 5 star reviews on Google, which is a mystery to me

Have you considered getting a pricelabs subscription and getting a little more in depth #'s on amenities, management experience, review count, pools, view vs non-view, etc?

I read biggerpockets reviews on each of the property.

Despite 5 star reviews, I had a nightmare experience with them before I ended up renting it out myself. 

I wouldn't be worrying about google business page until you're well established with a number of good reviews on the OTA.

We made a bet: be okay with no (or negative) margins on cleaning and let high quality reviews pay dividends years later.It’s paying off. 

I considered syndications which invest in car washes, self storage, multi-units and real estate debt funds but to be more passive but I've heard mixed reviews about syndications.
