I have not looked at apartments, but the condos I have researched have a minimum 30-day lease requirement, so be aware of that.One concern I have with short-term rentals is that they are dependent upon tourism.

A host with a lot of properties always needs people on call to put out fires, deliver random items etc so maybe you can help with that. 

They mentioned the custodian is who will be on the lease (I am not sure if the tenant will also be there, seems that the custodian acts as the guardian in this case) and that they are the ones who pay the rent.
