This year got we got something listed August 1st and just got the lease signed *yesterday* after dropping the price in $50 or $25 increments over August and 8 applications (not including a million other strongly interested inquiries that didn't get to the application stage).

I'd be surprised if they actually respond to your inquiry. 

Serious inquiries only, no middle men unless your prepared to negotiate your own separate fees. 

I am at the start of inquiry on this property so I don't know much beyond the basics I've mentioned.

I only showed the property to a handful people before one signed, but I did have some inquiries that asked specifically about a dishwasher and then when hearing the answer they didn't proceed.

I'm not defending this practice, but the situation is that new investors can make dozens and dozens of inquiries to a lender on deals that never come to fruition.
