How are you going to actually perform if you get a good response from someone? 

My late wife and I held joint interests in a piece of real estate in our separate individual self directed 401k accounts.

I really appreciated his response, and took detailed notes.

A neighbor has brought to my attention that a dead tree on my new property is at risk of falling onto their shed and home and that I would be responsible.

But then, if other people invest with them and lose money as a result, I'll feel partly responsible for not having warned people.You have already invested so my message was mostly addressed to everybody else to remind people them of the importance of doing a proper due diligence.
