If that is your plan then I wouldn't be surprised if a lender or servicer eventually caught wind of it and realized that you had bought 6 or 7 primary residences over the past 3 or 4 years and considered that the same as lying upfront.

If you still are thinking about it, do a complete background check, verify employer, past 2 landlords (the last one might lie to get rid of them) , pull their court cases in your local jurisdiction, look at the interior of their car, take a photo of their ID, etc...

I don’t know how much money is involved but as a “not a lawyer” I would assume all management fees should be refunded to the clients if they were lied to (defrauded).
