If you are able to successfully conclude a trade without the use of an intermediary, such as a broker, you of course save the brokers commission.  

As a investor / broker/ builder / pilot with 50 years in the industry the one thing that I think is dangerous though is unleashing all these beginners who really dont have the capital behind them and showing them and encouraging them how to get into properties with mortgages is others names and the sellers being to naive to understand the huge risk.  

Best best is to call a broker and they should be able to tell you what to do.

You should consult with a mortgage broker or lender now so you know how to maximize the LTV on the refinance.

For example: 50 years ago a brother and sister sell a property BUT ONLY the broker signs the deed at closing.

I'm curious how some of you found your brokers and what the process was like of interviewing? 

I have flipped homes for 15 years with my best friend who is a broker in Florida and we sold homes that were ethically done and quality remodels.

I've received numerous different feedback but would like a direct answer to make sure I understand how the process goes in transferring a RE license and Broker license to another state.
