A lot of investors don’t understand all the tools that are available to them because you would have to talk to someone that strategizes taxes i.e CPA, enrolled agent, tax lawyer etc. in order to use the short term loop hole, you must rent your STR for 15 days or more and be no greater than avg stay of 7 days.

Ultimately I just raised rents and got better with outsourcing the maintenance in a cost effective way (wasn't doing that very well before).

I am not a lawyer or know the nuances of licensure law to this level.That being said, I would imagine that if you signed contracts with clients that they will pay you $5,000/mo or $250/hr, or whatever you agree on, for consulting services, that is between you and them.
