They do know and want something in place you will have to go back to them to fix, or they're doing their best to go with the client's unrealistic wishes and don't have the guts to tell them that won't work.After dealing with plenty of these, I will tell you what I see works best.

If there is a large amount of equity, one party may have to buy out the other - if they cant afford it/cant qualify, then the property is sold.I deal with this frequently with mortgages.

I get that there are delays and behind the scenes, dealing with late suppliers, the city authorities being difficult, but I thought for sure I would be further along than this.
