You are right about the risk that comes with the holding period but in my opinion sometimes you have to take the risk and make sure the profit that you generate is higher than the costs that you paid by holding the deal for a specific amount of time.

I may have an unpopular opinion for Austin Market but i think hype is going down and things are settling down still not to pre pandemic levels, probably wont happen due to influx of people that moved in.My understanding is more people will move out than move in to Austin next few years but that is with in circles i know not necessarily representation of austin market.

The most satisfying changes I've made is move out of tech management and back into just engineering roles, I sold my house in the city and moved to 5 acres in the hills where i work remotely for less money gladly, I've paid off everything, and now I have the flexibility to do anything.
