See Treas Reg §1.163-8T(e)(1) below, and take into consideration the ordering rules for payback of debt.For number 6 and number 7, I'd want to know what happens to the $100k cash (number 6) and the $20k cash (number 7) that taxpayer gets from the bank upon execution of the loan.
