Vacation rentals work on the OR Coast because it's one of the most beautiful and unique places in the world to vacation. 

Not recommended IMO unless you have some pretty unique circumstances.This is why ADUs have been a big fail is SF.

@Hadar Orkibi personally I think every cycle is unique, not only in the reason for each stage's existence (for example Covid's influence, lending practices, etc.) but also for the recovery period.

IE they dont do them often or ever its a pretty unique document.

Consider theming your property based on popular attractions in the area, aligning with what guests are doing when they vacation.

We have had a place there for a couple years and does really well, BUT we self manage and it is now kind of a hobby where we learn as much as possible and keep on learning.....If you do go this route make sure to theme the place, and make it stand out.
