Well, was I in for a shock?

So its not shocking that folks given the opportunity and the law on their side would simply stop paying and risk their credit.. 

He did mention that he put about $80K into his house but he was shocked at house much money he was making monthly.  

Bad tenants might have let the driveway, and other items you don't know about, continue to degrade and you'll get shocked with even greater costs on any number of undisclosed problems when you finally find out.

@John Teachout I was shocked as well but those are the numbers from the county website.

Several weeks later, I phoned the last guests to stay there, and they were shocked that it had been destroyed. 

Shocked I ask why I was denied when I showed proof of ownership the clerk says because that is not my primary residence and my return address was Hampton and she made the decision to mail me back my stuff which included plans, proof of ownership, my Class A Contractors license along with other documents  ect. { I never received it she didn't even give me a courtesy call to let me know I was denied}.
