The guys ploughing are doing fine, but those running lighter equipment (i.e. pickups with ploughs, garden tractors with buckets or blowers) are having a lot of equipment failure.

Most people I know in that business are renting to farmers who are outdoor gardeners, renting the land, and a home, but gardening is done outdoors.

The reason it sat was because the inside was designed very quirky and eclectic, as well as an elaborate garden in the back that will require work to maintain.
