Should I look for some smaller property management firm?

Hi Grant, some things that might be helpful to learn more about the firm/team:- If/why they target a certain asset class- Have there been any problems with liquidity in past deals?

Especially if the CPA/firm is working on a (high) flat fixed rate.

Some want it paid to you, some want it paid to them, some to constable, some to sheriff, some to the law firm, some to the appraisal district.Payment normally due same day...so nearly impossible to get loans for these.

And if you open your own shop, there are hours in the chair required to be open to the public so basically, it's a terrible idea.As of now, I am a law clerk in a relatively busy transactional law firm.

Fast forward to now, a fresh 24-year-old, recently booted from my cushy W-2 job paying $80k/year, left to ponder the meaning of life and the potential of my bank account.Now, I find myself in the trenches of self-employment at my buddy's small business lending firm, with a 1099 in one hand and $75k in student loan debt in the other.

It can cost 3-5K to get those hauled away. 

I actually work for a global real estate asset management and investment firm (mostly commercial, logistics, multi family etc) and have always loved this asset class.

Trust me, I get **** from all angles by standing firm.
