I want to do what the protocol is and whatever is ethical and fair.

I went through the ethics section the other day, and that got me to thinking about agent referrals.

@Jonathan Bell meetups are big, networking conferences are big, biggerpockets is helpful, but the most important thing to remember is that you'll want someone that is like-minded and shares your investment ethics.

Just want to kickstart an investment discussion about Real Estate v.s Cryptocurrency that takes into consideration ROI, Risk/Reward, Cost of Entry, Headache, Time Horizons, and maybe even ethics if you want to get crazy with it. 

@Brittany C SpraginsMost will say realtor because of their network, that is essentially what you are getting when you chose a realtor besides personality fit and work ethic ( but that again will fall into the networking ability, Thierry network.)With that said, connect with everyone, start making phone calls, start making connections and relationships.There is a north Raleigh meetup next Wednesday’s.

It does put me in an....ethical dilemma, which maybe can be solved through proper disclosures, that if a house has been rehabbed...have the major mechanical systems, and capex been updated also?  

If the attorney is an ethical one, you should have no problems.

@Patti Robertson It is a calculated risk for sure, and agreed that there are unethical people in the business, and sometimes ethical people can do unethical things when faced with a lot of challenges in the business. 

generally there should be some sort of charges and fees with a transfer of title like that but i have seen folks get around it before so it may be possible just not ethical.

I don't know how ethical that is, but it was an interesting suggestion.
