@Andy SturmAs a agent submitting the bid you did agree to the terms and acknowledged the bid was true and the owner occupant intended to occupy the property. 

But, if one of my clients acknowledged the work I did and thanked me for a job well done, it would make my day.

You give a copy to the client, have them sign a copy to acknowledge receipt and place it in the file.
