As a fellow @GrantCardone student, I will second the notion of focusing on increasing income rather than cutting expenses.I would also say that being frugal is better than being cheap.

I laughed at the notion that I would have the chance to prove why I should be able to jack up the rent on my tenants (much higher than market rate), simply because my costs were so high.

You have a perceived notion and think less of the white people in WV based on nothing other than the color of their skin and where they live.
