Workman's comp is a state ran (well, I think) insurance program that covers work place accidents.

I do have a long commute both ways and the ability to listen to headphones in the workplace (which is where I've been listening to many of the BP podcast episodes).- I recently signed up for a local REI club through meetup.com but will need to wait until the next meeting to RSVP.

I am married and my wife will be staying in our current primary residence, but I am taking a job out of state where I will need to stay near my workplace during the week and travel home on weekends.

I would be willing to bet a small sum of money there are more incidents of traditional workplace violence than real estate agents being subject to violent acts showing/viewing houses.

To me real estate investment represents freedom; The freedom from the workplace that keeps me away from being a father, Financial freedom to do the things I've always wanted to do as a kid but couldn't, Educational freedom to learn all the things I never was taught in school, Freedom of my time to teach others all the things I've learned and free them from Plato's Cave. 

However, you may still be eligible for partial exclusion if you can show the main reason you sold your home was because of a change in workplace location, for health reasons, or because of an unforeseeable event.

That doesn't stop employers from acting irresponsibly, but it does point out the error of their ways.So long as people are not valued as such in the work place, these issues will continue.
