Do you happen to know the typical thickness of vinyl used for flooring in Florida?

We have found that the Home Decorators Collection which comes in 7"x48" planks and is 5mm thick is great for rentals and covers imperfections quite well. 

A mobile has virtually no wall bay thickness, no attic (slows transfer of ambient temp) and under a mobile is very poorly insulated.

One on top of each other and the outer layer is thick plastic sheeting stapled,- There's exposed wall from the back room to the garage,- Low hanging ceiling fans that are head height and drooping,- Small side room has no wall to the hallway.

As an example, some garages cannot be converted into 'living space'....usually the slab is not anywhere near today's code requirements (no steel, not thick enough, PSI inadequate)No point in buying a house and then finding out that you cannot convert the garage.....

Having a big house with our own bedrooms but a shared living space to gather late at night, that's something a hotel just can't provide.And here in Colorado, there's no such thing as a motel in the thick of the woods.

I didn't do a good job at vetting my search results X.X.What thickness do you usually recommend?

Depends on how old and how thick the hardwood is.

Although we now are using LVP, I have doubts it will hold up as well, but only time will answer that...VCT flooring can certainly be gouged or have other damage, BUT it is a solid material about 1/8th inch thick.

While one opinion on a property might be to put custom cabinets and 3 inch thick granite in the kitchen, the comps in the area may have formica and standard builder's grade cabinets.
