If you keep it long term find out if you can add more units in the property like ADU, DADU basically an attached unit or detached unit on the same lot.

This is not a Vegas slot machine gamble.

Then after 1 year I moved out and rented the Main home as a LTR and the DADU as an MTR, which significantly increased my cash flow.

So, if you have an RV park near by or have RV slots at your property you can hire these people to clean or run the motel for you.

However, due to an issue with obtaining water rights in this area, it is looking like I may not be able to build a DADU.

Wait until April and take your money and invest it an another property doing the same strategy house hacking but this time get a single family with future potential to add more value like an ADU or DADU to maximize your future rental income.
