I would be happy to have them move the large storage shed and its whatever contractor provides an acceptable bid rather than city employees doing the work.

They may or may not have good reasons and unless they communicate those reasons and perhaps even substantiate them I really try not to give them any weight.

I find with ANY project on a property, PLANS are worth their weight in gold bc they will show the exact inches, ft, etc that the project entails.

Check bed frames and chairs for their weight limits. 

And your generally not always but generally dealing with folks that only own a single property or very few not the sharpest tool in the shed other wise they would not be letting wholesalers step in and make more than a normal fee..
