@Matt Jennissen I'm currently doing a cash out refinance with a local credit union and they brought up to me that if I had the properties in an LLC that I'd have to re-deed them into my name, refinance, then can re-deed it back to the LLC.

I was reading my state law, and seems like if there is a will (testate situation) the executor can sell RE for almost any reason including paying for funeral expenses, creditors depts and others; but when there is no will (intestate situation) final settlement is required before RE deed can be legally transferred.Sorry for being too overwhelming!

I was hoping a corrective deed would solve the problem but the lawyer thinks I'll have to re- deed it with myself as grantor to my retirement account as grantee, which looks fishy to the IRS.
