I heard about bigger pockets from a friend of mine that has successfully built and rented multiple properties in our area. 

Certain markets are softer than others but there are other pockets that are still growing quickly in value. 

I am also trying to browse around on Bigger Pockets.

Listening to one bigger pockets episode or a good book here and there really can be a good reminder, refresher on the financial journey.
