Although after speaking with other investors, some are telling us that it is not necessary to start a corporation for our first investment and its better to just buy in our personal names and incorporate later.This sort of advice that we have received is based on the information that a corporation costs more to start up and maintain.Should we incorporate now or later?

A little background: I live in the Nashville area, currently work as a CPA in corporate finance, and have a couple of rentals that I manage (1 long term and one STR).Thank you in advance for any advice! 

@Daisy Hawkins where is your LLC registered - in many states anyone can search the articles of incorporation or statement of information to find LLC members.

I bought my first duplex in Milwaukee 15 years ago, brand new investor, working in corporate, just read RichDad and attended one of their seminars.

@Brian Scott don't forget to incorporate the tax savings into your calculations too!

I know of two in the westchase area that have incorporated in their bylaws that there are no leases allowed of 6 months or less.

Here is the structure of the LLC's:-I live in PA and have a holding company LLC incorporated in DE.

I know CA has a lot of rules/laws but in FL to start out I would incorporate, get EIN, get banks set up and then you are in business.
