It's a burn hazard to someone trying to walk around it, they're going to be constantly brushing by hot metal. 

Seller financing or subject-to deals can help acquire properties with little upfront capital.

Look at the current inventory, days on the market, and previous sales in the last 6 months that are similar to your subject property within a mile radius.
