If you have a good reason to keep the house, and you look at it like someone above mentioned - that you basically have caregivers in it, and you're getting a write-off on the loss, it's up to you if that's good enough for you.And if the location is great, it's entirely possible, as someone else mentioned (sorry, I am hopeless at the hashtag thing lol), that it will still make you money in the long run.You can also - in case you aren't already - write off a portion of your home (where you live now) as a business expense for home office for managing that rental.
