In 2022, half of American renters spent over 30% of their income on rent and utilities, the highest percentage ever recorded. 

Ultimately it was sorted because I clarified they legally had a joint responsibility to pay the total rent and there wasn't even an option for "half" the renters to pay late.

It's a competitive market and most of the people that get in trouble here are ones that buy blindly without actually figuring out the numbers, etc.You'd be surprised the number of times I get asked after month one if their electric bill of $xxx or whatever is normal, and the thought running through my head is "how did you not  check things like that before you committed half a million dollars to something?"

With some proper planning and the funds to lock in materials early, you can have an efficient build, but certainly not fast.

It taking half a day or a full day for someone to show up is completely commonplace at a hotel. 

We are buying this property for 650k with half down and half seller financing over 4 years at 8%.
