Nothing flashy about real estate, but owning 20 units when you reach 30 will definitely pay the bill and that's all that matters!

I once did door knocking in my hometown handing out my new flashy business card once licensed...brutal 100 degree day- the last thing i wanted to do was go outside and door knock.

Honestly @Dylan Henke this stuff works anyplace if you figure out the code, I know for a fact you can do it in your own backyard if you study the market, and figure out how you have to do deals, I have flipped in Bigger towns like Sheboygan, Fondy, as well as West Bend, I have done small towns too, I did one in Ripon, Beechwood, and Wild Rose,  some of the places I have flipped are depressed, and some are hotter, you just need to know you have a great deal and do your flip for the best ROI, not the I want flashy Quartz Countertops, and High end tile, when the return will be the same with laminate and sheet vinyl, doing far away flips is a pain, I have done several over an hour away, NOT FUN all the dashboard time. study your area and dont get too excited that you buy a bad deal to have one going, I've done that too.  

Green roofs, organic gardens, and LED bulbs are nice and flashy, but much of the actual environmentally friendly things you can do are less sexy.

It wasn't as flashy and the maps isn't very good but the data was there.

My point is, if you drive a flashy car, it can attract unwanted trouble like the police.4.

My site isn't "flashy" and ultra modern but it doesn't need to be for what it is.

Anything without flashy finishes or a remodel in the last 20 years is probably going to remain pretty steady.

How about going for ordinary and decent looking in lieu of flashy and expensive?  

I've heard of people using 5"x5" stickers and putting them on dumpsters, at gas pumps, at bus stops etc.similar to bandit signs (they aren't flashy) but they put ur messages where people are. and stickers are smaller, and may last longer as hard to pull off etc.my personal idea with stickers is to get ones made that severely contrast the colors of the local (extremely popular) free weekly paper and put them on their boxes.
