You don't have to fly halfway across the country to try and figure all of that out.

We invest in Idaho, probably the most landlord friendly market in the country, had good luck there. 

Previously the National Association of Realtors was the main lobbying force for landlords and property rights in the country.

Main question in other countries is ownership and taxes.  

I know that anything in California price-wise is far above many parts of the country.
