But I have a slightly unique situation - I’m planning on shooting a feature film in Asheville in March 2023 - so the plan would be that I would fund the downpayment on the property - we’d rent it out on AirBnb up until March, then I’d shoot the film in the house during March (it’s a feature length comedy drama).

I was well aware of the growth over the past 10 years, but when Joe Rogan + the entire LA comedy scene, Oracle, Tesla, etc., came on board, I understood that it was a rocketship that I wanted to be be on.

I think Mel Brooks summed up the human attitude well: "tragedy is when I cut my little finger, comedy is when you walk into an open sewer and die". 

@Jerryll Noorden probably could have broken Into stand up Comedy and crushed it there as well.  

In the area is Campus 805, Stand up Live Comedy Club, and of course Lowe Mill.
