So if I understand correctly, RWN brought shady deals to their investors, watched them invest without proper due diligence and investors got screwed?

The fact you brought this up on this board with this situation tells me that you are fairly new to renting by the room.

In any case I of course need to actually talk to my landlord, but I'm feeling better about that conversation the more points that are brought up for consideration beforehand.
