After conducting some title research, I discovered that the property is owned by the local nursing home, which is affiliated with the church I attend.

The other site that I would be looking at is meetup.com as well, they have a lot of meetups in your area that you can attend to get in front of people doing the stuff you want to be doing.

A great way to start is by attending RE events and joining a local investors association.

I completed an internship in commercial real estate, and I also attended a couple of local REIA meetings/networking events before moving to Northern VA.I was able to narrow down potential strategies, and I figured both BRRR as well as wholesaling don't seem to be the best strategies for me.
