I'm analyzing a mountain/lake town about 4-6 hours out from 3-4 fast growing cities.

Target Low Vacancy RatesChicago neighborhoods like Lakeview and West Town boast low vacancy rates, meaning fewer empty months.

Does anyone have experience employing out of town people with 20 plus years experience ? 

I don't see it as an issue but many still do, at least in my small town where the majority of renters are elderly people looking for low maintenance housing options.

The home doesn’t burn but the surrounding neighborhoods and town does, severely decreasing the value of our home3.

IOP and Folly were both sleepy little boho beach towns just like 20 years ago.

Hi all - I posted a similar question on another thread but want to approach it from a different angle.As we know Boston/sorrounding towns is an expensive market and finding cash flow is a challenge.With that said, there's potential in other cities around the country. 

I use one of the most expensive snow removal companies in town for a 16-plex that has 240 linear feet of sidewalk and 10,000 square feet of parking lot.
