He has books/magazines full of plans. mostly Mediterranean style, but others as well.The two we used have 6" wall so either concrete block or 2x6 frames which is costly but great insulation.The two also were for slab construction like many FL homes. 

I'd rather be the tortoise than the hare, personally.

Also, if there is any forum/website/similar where there are US/Canada purchasers with interest in European luxury real estate and in particular in the Mediterranean would be much appreciated.Thank you!

We love to go to the game reserve or the mountains, and our next big trip is a cruise on the Mediterranean in 2016.  

I have never dealt with pet damage before because I’ve never owned pets, nor have I ever allowed pets in rentals (except for a tortoise who lived outdoors).
