Hi guys,Just a quick question to see if someone knows the answer to this.As a foreigner residing in Singapore/Hong Kong, if I buy a property in Memphis (where there's no state tax), do I have to pay any federal tax on the rental income from the property?

You are lucky you live in Hong Kong.....go to ETrade, Schwab, Citibank, HSBC or one of the American banks there and open account...then they should be able to USD account either there or in US branch.An alternative is someone like Cathay Bank in USA.
