I have been a guest at the Portland REIA's a few years back and my talk was on the new dodd frank and NMLS rules... well one of the regular's did not agree and was giving the folks horrible advice.. but of course him being a big shot and there every week and its what the people wanted to hear my talk was useless LOL.. was not what they wanted to hear.the people that run them get a lot of leads coming their way and that is the benefit of donating their time..

@Nicholas AiolaQuestion, if you have old antique furniture that was bought for $13,000 in your primary residence and want to donate it (assuming you are itemizing anyway) can you deduct the original purchase value if you still have receipts from many years ago?
