Coincidentally, after reading this thread in the afternoon, then watching the news the same night, I saw a story on EV fires.

Good news is that the total due for the unpaid taxes is still well under the market value.  

The house is 100 years old and it looks like holey hell, to the point where the city starts to get involved and we (investors) get slammed in the news for running down neighborhoods generating a anti-landlord sentiment we really don't need.

Inflation is up, people are stressed, savings are exhausted and this unexpected so called break may leave this person homeless.This ^^^^ And I saw a news story recently that 50% of the US is currently having problems making their housing payment - both renters and owners.

Sea World and Universal is a large draw on top of golf, conferences and sporting tournaments. 

Like any type of not so good news, there are ways to deal with it, and those that deal with it better typically end up better off in the long run
