We've also gotten to know a few of the longer-term neighbors during our work sessions, and once I know they aren't nuts, I leave them my number.

Unless you didn't secure the fire escape or you left a ladder there I don't see you being negligent for their stupidity or training session, LOL. :)

It is not for a couple months but that last meeting is going to have a session talking about the strategy of buying and living in your first multifamily rental so might want to get up there for at least that one.
